Educational PowerPoint Games--EDUC 8823 Project

Educational Technology offers many opportunities for the constructivist learner. Creating educational PowerPoint games that incorporate Flash animation and voice recognition are examples of two applications of emerging technologies. The videos above provide instruction on setting up voice recognition on your computer and embedding Flash animation in educational PowerPoint games. Watch the videos then give it a try!

Derek,

I cannot watch them at school. I will try at home. I am having trouble with my ISP. I love that you had time to find something for all of us.

How are you liking Skype?

Derek-
Great video
I wish I knew about Screen Design when I was working on my persentation. Thanks for the tip. Your presentation was great. It was very easy to follow and understand. I got a little lost on the grid part at the end. That has nothing to do with your presentation, that has more to do with my own personal inexperience. I just love what you did. Perhpas we can get together with a skype chat this week and you can help with with the grid part? I'm going to try to set up my voice recognition system this weekend. Thanks for the very nice presentation.

Derek-

I can't watch it at school either. My school blocks anything with Flash applications. But, I did watch it when I got home. A very good presentation and I really liked the fact that you could use voice activation. That's something I really need to try. Thanks for the great idea!
